A citizen in our first due asks Newburg to assist in burning a barn down. The barn had been badly damaged in a storm and was in danger of collapsing. The land owner was told the barn had to come down quickly by his insurance company before anyone was injured. The members of Newburg gladly stepped up to the plate to assist.
We decided to do this on Tuesday, our usual drill night. The members loaded up the engines and proceeded to Penns Hill Road. The barn and shed burned very quickly as the pictures show.
