Engine Runs House Fire in King George County, Virginia

At 1251 hours on March 9th, Engine Company 14 and Tanker 10 was alerted mutual aid to King George County, Virginia for the reported house fire at the intersection of Potomac Drive and 15th Street in Dahlgren. Engine 143 responded and arrived on scene with heavy smoke and fire conditions. Due to the amount of material that was stored in the residence from over the years, the fire was difficult to locate. The crews from Engine 143 and Tanker 10 asisted Engine 281 from NDW Dahlgren Division with ventilation and overhaul. Units remained on the scene for over 2 hours before returning to service.
