At 0057 hours on March 4th, Engine Company 14, EMS 15, and EMS 14 was alerted for an MVA at Eastview Drive and Bowling Drive. Engine 141 responded with 5 and the lieutenant, along with PA 148 and Amb. 158. A-158 arrived on the scene and advised the location to be Bowling Drive at Sweeney Road. They wanted to place the engine in service and keep PA 148 coming to the scene, however Engine 141 decided to continue to the scene and advised Charles County that they were on the scene with two vehicles involved and one overturned. After conversing with the crew from Amb. 158 the decision was made to call for the helicopter. After securing power to the two vehicles, Eng. 141 set up the LZ for Trooper 7 in a field across the street from the accident scene. PA 148 arrived on the scene and assisted Amb. 158 with packaging the patient/patient care. The crews loaded the patient into Trooper 7, who then transported the patient to P.G Hospital. Units from 14 returned to quarters at 0212 hours.
