At approx. 1227 hrs, Boat 14 and EMS 14 were alerted for a Boat in Distress with people in the water in the Wicomico River just south of Cobb Island. MSU-14, Boat 14, Command 14 and A-149 responded. Boat 14 went underway from Shymansky's to assist Co. 6 units and A-149 staged at High Avenue with other units. SM BT-5 was first arriving boat on scene and rescued 2 people from the water. BT-14 staged while SM BT-5 transported the patients to shore. Units operated for about 1 hour before being placed in service.
