A new Command unit has joined the fleet at Station 14. It's been a long time coming for the fire divison to have a new vehicle. Last year a commitee was formed to look into a new utility and a few months ago it was approved by the Board of Fire and Rescue. After dealing with a few vendors, we decided to go with Odyssey Emergency Vehicles and purchased a GMC Yukon as Command 14. This vehicle is special equipped with a flare system. Chief Hayden and Deputy Chief Shifflett brought the new command unit home today.
