At 0722 hours Engine Company 14 and surrounding companies were alerted for the house fire in the 10300 block of Nettle Place, reported fire in the garage. Engine 143 responded with 6 volunteers and the Lieutenant along with Chief 14A. Chief 14A arrived on scene side C with light smoke coming from the garage and established the Nettle Place Command. Engine 143 arrived and advanced the 1' 3/4 bumper line to residence and extinguished what was left of a small fire. Engine 102 picked up 143's line and assisted with ventilation. Command held Engines 143, 144, 102 and Truck 3 to check for extention and ventilation. Truck 3 checked with their thermal imager and found no extension. Units returned to service at 0815 hours.
