On December 17th at 641 am, Station 14 was alerted for the Engine and Ambulance for a reported working house fire on Potomac River Drive. Engine 101 as Engine 143 responded with 5 and Chief 11-B (Bryans Road filling our station). Chief 14-B followed behind with 2, and A-148 responded with 2. Upon arrival, 143's crew assisted with picking up 6's line and extinguishing the fire. Units operated on scene for about 2 1/2 hours before being placed in service.
