At 1616 hours Engine Company 14 was alerted for the reported chimney fire in the 15500 block of Potomac River Drive on the Island. Engine 143 responded with 4 volunteers and the the Sergeant. Captain 6 arrived on the scene and advised to have 143 to continue in and all others stage at station 6. Engine 143 arrived on the scene side A with nothing showing and picked up engine 61's line. The crew assisted Engine 61 with checking for extension and chaining the chimney. Units returned to service at 1650 hours. Thanks to Engine 23 from Hughesville for filling in.
