| Just before 2PM, units from Cobb Island, Newburg, Charles County Dive Team and numerous boats were alerted for a boat fire with subjects in the water in the Potomac River off of Cobb Island.
Ambulance 149 and Paramedic Ambulance 148 quickly responded. Units from Cobb Island advised they had a large column of smoke visible from the shore line. Boat 6 quickly launched and came across a 30+ foot vessel fully involved. St. Mary's Boat 5 arrived right behind Boat 6 and were told all occupants were accounted for and picked up by other boaters in the area. Boat 6 engaged in foam operations to knock the fire down.
Boat 5 gathered up all the occupants and brought them to shore at Cobb Island. The dive team units along with units from Newburg were placed in service and units from Co.6 handled evaluating the patients. All patients refused.
