Working House Fire in Co. 10's area

On Nov 1, 2014 at approx. 17:33 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for a house fire on Bridgett Ln. Engine 143 responded with 4+2, with Chief 14 responding to the scene. A-158 arrived on scene and advised it was a working house fire on side A. Engine 143 was the first arriving engine on scene and laid out 1,050 ft. of 4' supply line. Crews pulled all the attack lines off; over 900 ft. of 1 3/4" attack lines. Chief 10-A had the Bridgett Lane Command. Command ordered the evacuation tones for Ladder pipe operations. Engine 143 worked with Truck 1 to ladder pipe the house. Engine 143 worked with companies 2, 1, 10, 5 with to extinguish the fire. After the fire was knocked, all crews went back to work to perform overhaul. Units were on the scene for about 5 hours. Thanks to Tanker 6 for filling in at our station.
