At approx. 16:02 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for a House fire on Rock Point Road approx 1/4-1/2 mile past the station. Rescue Engine 141 arrived on the scene on side "A" with smoke showing from the roof as reported. Engine 143 arrived shortly after and picked up RE141's line. Chief 10-B arrived on the scene and established the Rock Point Road Command until the arrival of Chief 14-B. RE141 advanced an Attack Line and reported the residence was charged with smoke and that they had located a fire in the kitchen. The crews from RE141 & E143 worked together to extinguish the fire. Chief 14-B (J. Hammett) also requested the Fire Marshal and SMECO respond to the scene. Crews utilized approx. 2400 gallons of water and operated on scene for approx. 2 hours.

Thanks to Engine 61 for filling our quarters.
