Reported 1st Due House Fire

At 0738 on 4/19/12 Engine Company 14 was alerted for a 1st due house fire, reported fire in the walls in the 13500 Block of Waverly Point Rd in Morgantown. Engine 143 responded with 3 volunteers and Chief 14B. Engine 143 arrived on scene with a 2 story single family with nothing showing. The crew from engine 143 investigated and found a smoking outlet in the kitchen area of the house an secured power to the outlet, Truck 28 checked for extension and found nothing. Units cleared at 0838.
