2nd Due Working House Fire

At approximately midnight on 4/9/12, Engine Company 14 was alerted for a reported kitchen fire in the 14400 block of Forest Dr in Company 6's first due. Engine 143 responded with 4 volunteers and Chief 14B. Engine 61, 143, and Squad 10 arrived on the scene to find a one story single family dwelling with fire showing from sides Charlie and Delta. Chief 6 established the Forest Dr Command, Chief 14B had Division 1, Chief 10A had Safety. The crews from Engines 61 and 143 made a quick knock of the fire and Squad 10 and NDW Engine 281 assisted with overhaul. Units cleared at approximately 0300.
