MVC Extrication in Co. 6 First Due Firefighter Michael Ivie, July 14 On Friday, July 14th at approximately 11:12 hrs, Rescue Engine 141 and Paramedic Ambulance 149 operated at the scene, among many other units, of an auto accident on Rock Point Road in the area of Kings Farm Road today in Co. 6's area at approximately 11:15 hours. Co. 6 First Due Working Barn Fire Firefighter Michael Ivie, July 01 On Saturday, July 1st at approximately 19:54 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for Structure Barn Fire in Co. 6's first due. Engine 143 responded with a total crew of 5 with Chief 14. Engine 143 was the first arriving unit on scene, layed out approximately 1000 feet of 4' supply line. Visiting Founding Member Ronnie Wright's son Chris Wright EMS Chief Andrew Spalding, December 12 "Family - we may not have it all together, but together we have it all" Today, members went to pick up Life Member and Past President Ronnie Wright to take him to his son, past member Chris Wright's, grave site. His life was tragically taken 8 years ago today in a car accident, and this time of the year is always especially rough on Ronnie. We love Ronnie and are so thankful for him starting this ... Passing of Life Member Mary Kay Waugh EMS Chief Andrew Spalding, November 30 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, the Newburg Volunteers regrets to announce the passing of Life Member Mary Kay Waugh. Mary Kay faithfully served the community through EMS for 21 years, after joining our department in September of 1995. Mary Kay was also a member of the Charles County Mobile Intensive Care Unit.
