On Friday September 11th, 2015 at approx 1629 hrs. Co. 14 was alerted for an MVC with one Overturned at Crain Highway/Budds Creek Road. RE-141 responded with 3 volunteers, Chief 14-A, A-148 with 2 volunteers and PA-149 with an additional volunteer. Units arrived to find an SUV on its roof and one male patient lying on the side of the road. Command was held by Chief 14-A. The patient was quickly assessed by EMS crews, which resulted in a request for a Medevac. This brought Trooper 7 to the call. Station 10 was also requested to the scene for additional absorbent. The patient was flown to an area trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.
