On Jan 09, 2015 at approx. 16:35 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for a structure fire on Swindler Rd. Engine 143 responded with 4 volunteers. Chief 10-B arrived on scene and reported a working shed fire and established the Swindler Road Command. Engine 143 arrived on scene and laid 100' of 3" and pulled 200' of attack lines. Engine 61 arrived on scene and picked up Engine 143's line and pulled 2nd attack line to assist with extinguishing the fire, followed by Station 10, Mechanicsville Co. 2, T-1 and T-28. Chief 6 arrived on scene and assumed Operations. Units operated on the scene for about 2 hours.
