Company 10 first due for the General Alarm Fire at the Charles County Fairgrounds

April 2 - At 15:26 hours, Company 14 was alerted for a 3rd Due Trailer Fire in Co. 10's area. Engine 143 responded with 4 personnel. Engine 101 arrived on scene and reported a working Trailer and Brush fire. Engine 101 request the next due Engine company layout at the entrance of the Fairgrounds. Engine 143 arrived on scene and laid a 4" hose at the entrance of the Fairgrounds. Crews pulled a 400' attack line and 2 1/2' attack line and attacked the fire. Engine 143 also supplied Engine 102 and Truck 11 & 3. Command requested more units for the scene and for the brush fire. Charles county sounded the General Alarm for all Brush units. Rescue Engine 141, Engine 144, Command unit 14/ATV14. Engine 144 and ATV 14 attacked the brush fire and Rescue Engine 141 was filling up tankers.
