First Due Working Structure Fire

On May 21, 2012, at 10:16 hrs, Station 14 was alerted for a 1st due structure fire in the 9600 block of Terri Dr. Units arrived to find a camper on Side B fully involved with extension to the garage of a 2 story single family dwelling. Units operating on scene extinguished the fire to both area and contained the fire spread with minimal damage to the main structure. 102 arrived and advanced hose lines to side B. E143 arrived and established water supply, utilizing Tanker 10's folding tank for a continuous draft. RE-141 established a secondary water supply for the tanker shuttle on Bowling Dr. The fire was brought under control at 1052 hours. SMECO secured the power to the structure and the Fire Marshal arrived at 1140 hours. CH-14 had Command and CH-1B had operations. All units cleared the scene by 1231 hours. Great Job by all who operated on the scene.
