At 03:43 hours Company 14 was alerted for a MVC with one reported trapped in the area of Rock point Rd and Higdon Elementary. PA148 arrived to confirm a location of Rock Point Rd and Thompson Farm Rd with a vehicle on it's side. Rescue Engine 141 responded with the Sergeant and 5. Rescue Engine 141 arrived on scene to report one vehicle overturned with one subject trapped. Chief 14B arrived on scene and assumed the Rock Point Rd command. Chief 14 arrived on scene and was assigned Operations. Crews from rescue Engine 141 & Squad 10 extricated one patient from the vehicle. A helicopter was requested, but per SYSCOM they were all down due to weather. PA-148 transported one patient by ground to a nearby trauma center.
