Rescue Engine and Paramedic Ambulance Respond to MVA
DECEMBER 02
- At 1304 hours PA148 was alerted for a medical emergency in the 11800 block of Mill Run Road. On arrival PA148 advised that the medical emergency resulted in a MVA and they had a single vehicle into a tree adding Engine Company 14 to the call. RE141 responded with 3 volunteers. Canned Food Drive
NOVEMBER 02
- The Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Dept. will now be accepting any canned food items and/or non-perishable food items to donate to the Southern Maryland Food Bank for this holiday season. Food can be dropped off at any time, attentioned to Andrew Spalding, EMS Chief/PIO. Fire Prevention at Higdon Elementary and Career Day at Piccowaxen

- On Thursday October 27th, 2011 from 0730-1530 hours, members of our department went to Higdon Elementary School for Fire Prevention. As always, a great time was had and many kids learned about things ranging from Stop, Drop and Roll, EDITH, 9-1-1, crawling and watching a Fireman getting dressed.
