Another Working Barn Fire in St. Marys County

At around 2318 hours Charles County dispatched Engine Companies 14, 2 and Tanker 10 for mutual to St. Marys County at 27300 James Road in Mechanicsville for the shed fire. Engine 143 responded with 5 volunteers along with Chief 14B in buggy. Mechanicsville Engine 23 arrived on the scene and advised they had a working barn fire. Working Barn Fire in St. Marys County

At around 0522 hours Engine Company 14 was alerted for mutual aid to St. Marys County in the 36800 block of Holly Field Ln in Chaptico for the working barn fire. Engine 143 responded with 4 volunteers. Units from St. Marys arrived on the scene and advised they had a pole barn filled with hay well off. Engine 143 was third arriving engine and asisted companies 5 and 1 with extinguishment and overhaul. ... (Full Story & Photos)
