Engine 143 Returns

Machinery fire turns to large brush fire

AUGUST 30 - At 1628 hours, Company 14 and St. Mary's Company 2 were dispatched to 13000 block of Ryceville Road for a reported Machinery Fire. St.Mary's Engine 21 and Rescue Engine 141 arrived to find a Haybailer on fire to the rear of a residence in a hay field. The fire had spread to a large area of brush as well. Co. 10 House Fire

AUGUST 19 - At 1218 hours, Company 14 was dispatched to 9035 Soldierwood Court for the house fire. Rescue Engine 141 responded and Chief 14B met them on the scene. Engine 101 arrived on the scene to find a 2 story single family structure with heavy smoke showing. Smoke Investigation turns to Mud Pit

AUGUST 17 - On 08/15/10 at approximately 17:16, Station 14 was alerted for a smoke investigation on Budds Creek Rd in the area of Plantation Dr. E141 checked the area to find heavy smoke conditions, at which time E141 found two large piles of debris that were being burned unattended located on Rankokas Pl. Jet Ski Races

AUGUST 17 - The weekend of Aug 7th & 8th, Boat 14 along with other departments in the surrounding area headed to Colonial Beach, VA to assist with the Jet Ski races.
