Grand Re-Opening of Friday Night Bingo!

After 8 1/2 years of Bingo at our department, we will have a grand re-opening on Friday September 4th, 2015, 2015! This will be to welcome in some much needed revamping to the program and put more cash in your pockets! We are hopeful that by bringing these changes, we will bring more patrons and spark new interest!

On Friday July 10th, 2015 from 4 pm - 8 pm our department will hold a Carryout Chicken Dinner. Also, a bingo will be held with doors opening at 5:30, Early Birds starting at 6:45 pm, Regular games starting at 7:00 pm. Volunteers respond to heavy storm damage - later confirmed EF-1 Tornado

On Saturday June 27th, 2015 an EF-1 tornado, with peak winds of 90 mph, touched down in the Morgantown area of Co. 14's first due. The tornado was on the ground for 2.1 miles and lasted from 16:28 to 16:36. The storm and tornado caused extensive damage to the immediate area, taking down at least 17 electric poles/wires, many trees that completely blocked roadways, took out sheds/garages, landed on ... On Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd, the SMVFA made it's way to the Newburg area for the 68th Annual Convention!

On Saturday May 2nd, the Memorial Service was held at the Cobb Island Vol. Fire Department and EMS.
